Localized power is defined by applying direct power to the prime mover at the point where the work is to be performed.

Regulating the power on demand — locally at the actuator — optimizes energy consumption, increases machine performance and reduces downtime. This is truly plug and play control. Line of use replacement, standard with localized power actuators, reduces downtime traditionally viewed in days to mere hours.

HAS Hybrid Actuation System

The new Hybrid design combines the controllability of traditional electromechanical actuators with the power density, longer life and failsafe conditions commonly found on traditional hydraulic systems. The result is an improved actuation solution for 1-2 axis of motion control. Bore sizes ranging from 2" through 8" bore with no limit on stroke, mount or rod modifications.

Simple 2 wire DC units available now with larger AC units in development.

The evolution of position sensing technology has taken a smart step forward with the Intellinder Absolute Position Sensor design. By integrating a highly engineered sensor into either a hydraulic, pneumatic or electro-mechanical cylinder, this Parker design eliminates the time and cost associated with gun drilling, as well as unprotected external sensors with complex linkages. Cylinder feedback installation is virtually plug-and-play.

  • Sustains performance in applications exposed to vibration, dust, gravel, corrosives and chemicals
  • Remains impervious to electronic noise and has been tested to ensure signal strength in the most rigorous applications
  • Performs across a wide range of temperatures and provides long stroke capabilities of 20 feet (6,096 mm)
  • Features highly sensitive health monitoring to detect and diagnose potential cylinder malfunctions before they can disrupt operations
